Where Nostalgia goes to Decay

Retro Rot didn't start as a clothing brand ...It started as an obsession.


Before the rot, there was Instant Flashback Toys - digging through bins, flea markets, forgotten collections, and dusty boxes of the past. Cracked blister cards, faded VHS tapes, horror toys that looked better broken than new. 


We weren't chasing perfection.


We were chasing a feeling.


The kind of feeling that you got from underground comics, warped cover art, bootleg flyers, and album covers that scared your parents. The kind of imagery that lived somewhere between toy aisles, horror movies, and heavy metal album art. 


Thats where Retro Rot was born. 

From Collecting to Creating

Instant Flashback Toys was about preserving the past.

Retro Rot is about corrupting it.


After years of handling relics of the 80s and 90s pop culture, something became clear - nostalgia doesn't age cleanly. It cracks. It peels. It mutates.


So instead of restoring it , we decided to rot it down to the bone. 


Retro Rot takes the spirit of vintage toys, hoor comics, and cult media and fuses it with underground art and heavy metal energy - raw, aggressive, imperfect, and unapologetically uncovnentional. 


No polish.

No mass appeal.

No corporate gloss.
